Sébastien Bazin affirms on franceinfo that the group has offered to make vaccinodromes in its hotels “since last July”.
“We are able to carry out vaccinodromes in our 1,600 hotels in 700 cities in France” in order to vaccinate the population against Covid-19, said the CEO of the Accor group on Wednesday March 24 on franceinfo. “We submitted it to all state agencies, for now, they don’t need it”, explained Sébastien Bazin. In his hotels, the CEO said he had “the ability to welcome, protect and be able to do so 24 hours a day”.

“Welcoming people to get vaccinated doesn’t cost a hotelier anything at all. It’s our job anyway to protect each other around us and so I’m not even sure it will be a discussion of price”, insisted Sébastien Bazin. He also indicated that they were “ready” and they proposed it “since last July”.

“We offered beds, says Sébastien Bazin. We have more than 150,000 empty hotel beds in France. Frankly, we were also able to welcome, to protect a certain number of people who were carriers of the virus, to be able to isolate them in a hotel. We have electricity, we have air conditioning, we can leave the doors open “, concluded Sébastien Bazin.
