St. Petersburg volleyball club “Zenith” commented on the incident that occurred after the final match of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) Cup against Moscow “Dynamo”.
The St. Petersburg club also demanded that Dynamo stop the insults and the “shameful behavior of the volleyball Dynamo fan sector.”
The meeting took place in St. Petersburg and ended with a score of 3: 1 (25:21, 23:25, 28:26, 26:24). An unpleasant incident occurred after the game. During the awards ceremony, a fan of the Moscow club ran out to the site to congratulate the volleyball players, but was beaten by the security service. The fan has a suspicion of a fracture of the cervical vertebra. After the match, he was taken to the hospital.
