Dana White said Habib Nurmagomedov’s career in the UFC is over.
UFC:n manager Dana White posted a Twitter photo of their freestyle organization star on Twitter Habib Nurmagomedovin with. According to White, Nurmagomedov, 32, has a career in the UFC.
– He’s 100% retired. It was amazing to look at your work at Habib. Thanks for everything and enjoy what life brings when it comes next, White tweeted.
Nurmagomedov will leave the UFC both as a champion in the lightweight series and as number one on the pound for pound list, which takes all weight classes into account. He won all 29 professional matches.
The competitor himself thanked his background troops and fans on Instagram – as well as White.
– Dana, I will never forget your attitude towards me. My father didn’t forget it and my sons will remember you, Nurmagomedov wrote.
His father died last year of a disease caused by the coronavirus. The contestant added that he hoped his fans would understand the solution.
Nurmagomedov said he would end his Freestyle career after his previous match. The Russian star won in his last match Justin gaethjen in October 2020 at UFC 254. He had promised his mother he would end the match.
Despite the announcement of “Dagestan’s Eagle”, he has been allowed to hold the lightweight championship belt for six months and no new title match has been held. White has hoped the box office magnet of the UFC organization would still return to the cage to defend his championship. White and Nurmagomedov have met regularly, freestyle media have reported.
