The skater told which jumps are more convenient to perform with raised arms.
“Lutz and flip – yes. In my opinion, raised arms help to enter the axis of rotation more correctly and more accurately. They seem to pull the body up. Accordingly, it becomes more convenient to land. ”
Alexandra Trusova, who took 12th place after the short program, declared five quadruple jumps for an arbitrary, but allowed falls when performing two of them. Despite this, the judges rated the performance of the Russian figure skater at 152.38 points, she scored 217.20 points for the sum of two rentals, which allowed her to become the bronze medalist of the world championship.
