“This season, Evgenia Tarasova did not give us any reason to doubt, and here in the warm-ups and trainings everything was fine, and what happens during the skating is still incomprehensible to anyone, we need to figure it out,” Trankova quoted TASS as saying.

According to the coach, Tarasova needs to understand herself.

“On the one hand, if we won at least some medal, I could be satisfied, but staying with a wooden one is not great happiness,” he added.

Russian figure skaters Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov won gold medals. Their compatriots Alexandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky won bronze. Silver went to Wenjing Sui and Han Cong from China. Tarasova and Morozov took fourth place.

Earlier it was reported that Mishina and Gallyamov were surprised by their victory at the world championship.
