The Supreme Court of Ukraine received a claim to appeal against the decree on judges of the Constitutional Court

The Supreme Court of Ukraine received a lawsuit against the decree of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the abolition of the appointment of judges of the Constitutional Court (CC) of the country.

As the press service of the Supreme Court clarified, there were two claims against the decree of March 27, 2021 No. 124/2021 “On some issues of ensuring the national security of Ukraine” regarding the abolition of the appointment of judges of the Constitutional Court of the country.

Earlier it was reported that the Constitutional Court of Ukraine will convene for a special meeting on April 12 due to Zelensky’s decree to cancel the appointment of Alexander Tupitsky and Alexander Kasminin as judges of the Constitutional Court.

On March 27, Zelensky asked two judges of the Constitutional Court to go on a “well-deserved rest.”
