State Duma deputy Ruslan Balbek commented in an interview with RT on the statement of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg about the alliance’s concern about Russia’s “aggressive actions”.
“In his opinion, it is Russia that should be responsible for the differences in the bloc, for the unwillingness of other countries to spoil relations with neighbors. And the biggest “fault” of Moscow is the rearmament of the army and navy. In fact, this is not an accusation, but a false trail, ”the parliamentarian explained.
In his opinion, even the countries of the alliance do not believe in its exclusively peacekeeping mission.
Earlier, as RIA Novosti reported, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said the alliance was concerned about Russia’s “aggressive actions”.
Stoltenberg also said that the European Union and the North Atlantic Alliance will not be able to cope alone with the challenges posed by Russia.
In turn, the Russian Foreign Ministry recommended that NATO member states tackle the internal problems of the alliance instead of criticizing Russia.
