Online sales have exploded since the first lockdown. Since March 2020, orders for wine of a company located in Meursault, Côte-d’Or, did not weaken. On the contrary, the company’s turnover almost doubled in 2020. A second preparer was even recruited to ship the 30,000 bottles sold last year. According to a study, the e-commerce turnover of wine jumped more than 20% in one year, the equivalent of nearly 600 million euros.
