The Police opens a file on two Benidorm agents who were recorded by a neighbor beating a young woman for breaking the curfew

The Government Delegation confirms that the National Police has taken a statement from the two Benidorm agents, but indicates that they have not been arrested for these events.

The National Police has opened a file on two agents who were recorded while detaining a young woman in Benidorm who violate the curfew and, apparently, other anti-covid regulations.

In video of this intervention, which was recorded from her home by a neighbor of this Alicante municipality, you can see the agents immobilizing the young woman and giving him several blows of the baton, and has been spread on social networks.

According to sources from the Government Delegation in the Valencian Community have informed Efe, the National Police has taken statement to both agents -who have not been arrested- within the framework of the aforementioned file.

These actions will be sent to the court, so that the judicial authorities can determine if the aforementioned police intervention incurred irregularities and if the agents deserve criminal reproach.
