He explained that «there is an urgent need to provide a safe and stable environment and to be assured of the safety of the procedures applied to conduct the elections and to rely on the biometric card, and to give voters the opportunity to choose their representatives away from fraud, manipulation and pressure». The Iraqi President also called for granting equal opportunities to candidates to participate and run, because these are The factors represent a basic pillar for the success of the elections and the launching of the desired reform.
