On the evening of March 22, an avalanche occurred in the Khibiny in the Murmansk region. The tourist group from St. Petersburg, which ended up in the area of a snow block, consisted of 13 children aged from ten to 15 years and three adults.
A girl born in 2008 after an avalanche found herself under the snow and subsequently died.
