The founder of the German company Biontech, Ujur Shaheen, expressed his optimism that the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) will be controlled in most European countries by the end of the summer, despite the stalled distribution of vaccines in some countries.
Shaheen, whose company and Pfizer are producing the first vaccine authorized for use in many countries, said he was optimistic that the supply problems would prove temporary. He added that it is possible to ensure that 70% of Germans will be vaccinated by the end of September.
He continued in a statement to the German newspaper “Welt im Sonntag”: “It is likely that we will not need a closure in many European countries and the United States by the end of the summer. There will be outbreaks, but they will not be effective.” There will be mutations, but they will not scare us. ”
