The FFKKR said that three quotas in men’s skating at the Olympic Games will need to be confirmed

President of the Russian Figure Skating Federation (FFKKR) Alexander Gorshkov spoke about the conquest of the maximum quota for the Olympic Games-2022 by Mikhail Kolyada and Yevgeny Semenenko. which will be held in Beijing.

At the World Championships in Stockholm, Kolyada took fifth place, and Semenenko – eighth. Such a result (no more than 13th place in total) gives Russia the right to delegate three skaters to the men’s singles competition at the 2022 Games.

“Kolyada and Semenenko performed well. They won three quotas for the next World Championships, earning the right to fight for a triple quota for the Olympics. They still need to confirm this quota at the qualifying competition, which will be held in Obertsdorf. This is a new rule, “Sport24 quotes Gorshkov.

Earlier, Butyrskaya admitted that she was very offended for Kolyada.
