The Federation Council supported Crimea’s plans to file several lawsuits against Ukraine – RT in Russian

Sergei Tsekov, a member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, commented on the Crimean intention to send several lawsuits to Ukraine due to the organization of the water blockade of the peninsula.

Tsekov said that international institutions are obliged to respond to the fact of human rights violations.

“In this case, there are clearly violations, by and large, this was indirectly recognized by a number of international organizations, those that stated that there is a problem with the water supply to Crimea, including due to the fact that Ukraine stopped the supply of water to the territory. At the same time, they mentioned with reservations that water supply issues are the responsibilities of the state that includes the territory, ”said the senator.
