According to the Federal Air Transport Agency, the passenger traffic of Moscow airports – Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo – in January-February of this year decreased by 45.3% compared to the same period in 2020, to 7.4 million people.

On international lines, the reduction is noted at the level of 82.6%, to 1 million, on domestic lines – by 12.8%, to 6.3 million.
Over the two months indicated, Sheremetyevo Airport reduced traffic by 59.7%, to 2.6 million passengers, Domodedovo – by 30.8% to 2.7 million, Vnukovo – by 33.7%, to 2 million.
In February, Moscow airports reduced traffic by 45.2%, to 3.5 million. The number of passengers on international flights decreased by 81%, to 550 thousand, domestic – by 15%, to almost 3 million.
Earlier, the president of the Russian Union of Travel Industry Andrei Ignatiev, in an interview with NSN, commented on the situation with the summer season.
