He added that the document will not be mandatory, but can be required when traveling by plane, participating in events or entering public places. The EC, the executive body of the EU, announced on the 17th the project for a digital certificate that allows EU citizens to travel, with the initial objective that it should be ready before the summer, possibly in June.
