Coach Hossam El-Badry revealed a resounding surprise about the salary he gets from taking over the Egyptian national team, indicating that he is getting less money than he used to get while training for Al-Ahly.
Al-Badri told the Egyptian “On Sports” channel, “This story is very ridiculous, and whoever discusses it does so for personal purposes, my salary in the national team is less than my salary in Al-Ahly, and less than any foreign country I worked in.”
He added, “The foreign coach gets 300% or 400% of the reward I get, but I didn’t talk about that.”
On the other hand, Al-Badri responded about his lack of smile during the matches, and said: “I am surprised by those who say that I do not laugh, I laugh constantly, but in the stadium, how do I smile or laugh because this is the workplace and my focus is on work.”
