European Commissioner for Internal Market Thierry Breton said that vaccination certificates against coronavirus infection COVID-19 will become available in the European Union by June 15.
The vaccination certificate will indicate the owner’s name, date of birth, passport number, as well as information about the vaccination against coronavirus or information about the transferred COVID-19.
In the absence of such a certificate, the passenger will need to undergo a coronavirus test.
Earlier, the deputy head of the EC Maros Shefchovich said that the EU countries supported the project of “vaccination passports” proposed by the European Commission.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov urged not to allow the presence or absence of a coronavirus vaccination certificate to infringe on human rights and the rights of a traveler.
