According to Governor Vladimir Vladimirov, the flow of tourists in the region decreased by 40% compared to the previous period (from 1.6 million people in 2019 to about 960 thousand in 2020).
“We have tried to open our sanatoriums as soon as possible. But further restrictions associated with the settlement of no more than one person, if they are not family members, with the closure of hotels, in general, in the country, very many territories declared quarantine. Of course, the tourism industry has gone through very difficult, “- said the head of the region.
Also, the amount of the resort tax has been reduced by half – to 133 million rubles.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that the tourism potential of the region was assessed in the Tyumen region.
