At the request of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Russia, two men accused of banditry and murder were extradited from Bulgaria.
The accused fled from law enforcement agencies and was put on the international wanted list. In 2020, he was detained in Bulgaria.
An Estonian citizen Andrei Danilov (Edwin Reinsalu) was also detained there. In 2012, the Vologda Regional Court with the participation of a jury found him guilty in absentia under the articles of murder, illegal arms trafficking and attempted murder. The man was sentenced to 19 years in prison with serving in a strict regime correctional colony.
Accompanied by a special convoy, Mukhin and Danilov were taken to Moscow.
Earlier it was reported that Germany extradited to Russia citizens of Slovakia and Ukraine, accused of road accidents and fraud.
