Spartak head coach Domenico Tedesco commented on the team’s crushing victory over Ural Yekaterinburg in the 23rd round match of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
He noted that the end of the championship is still far away, therefore it is too early to discuss the standings.
“I prefer not to look at the standings. Our next match is away against Rostov, and this will be after the national teams’ matches. The compilations will return to the team’s location just a few days before this game, so we will have practically no time to prepare. There are no easy matches now, ”added Tedesco.
After a crushing victory over Ural with a score of 5: 1, Spartak with 44 points takes second place in the RPL standings.
Earlier it was reported that Spartak scored at least five goals in two home games in a row for the first time in 20 years
