The Ministry of Health of Antigua and Barbuda has registered the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine. This was reported by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).
It is noted that Antigua and Barbuda became the 57th country in which the use of the Russian vaccine was approved.
“Registration of the Sputnik V vaccine will help save lives and protect the population of Antigua and Barbuda. The high efficiency of Sputnik V has been confirmed by the publication of data in the leading medical journal The Lancet, ”said Kirill Dmitriev, RDIF CEO.
The vaccine registration was carried out under an accelerated procedure.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, at a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Askar Mamin in Moscow, noted that many foreign experts recognize the high effectiveness of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine.
