Sinitsina and Katsalapov became world champions in ice dancing – RT in Russian


Russians Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov won ice dancing at the World Figure Skating Championships in Stockholm.

According to the results of two rentals, the Russian duet scored 221.17 points: 88.15 for rhythmic and 133.02 for free dance.

The second place was taken by the Americans Madison Hubbell and Zachary Donohue with a score of 214.71 (86.05 + 128.66) points. The three prize-winners were closed by a duet from Canada – Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier, who scored 214.35 (85.15 +130.98) points.

Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin, with a score of 208.77 (83.02 + 125.75) points, took fifth place, and Tiffany Zagorski and Jonathan Gurreiro finished sixth, gaining 188.45 (75.58 + 112.87) points.

Earlier it was reported that Nathan Chen became a three-time world champion.
