Russian figure skaters took first place in the medal standings at the 2021 World Figure Skating Championships in Stockholm, Sweden.
Gold was won by Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov (ice dancing), Anna Shcherbakova (women’s single skating), Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov (sports couples).
Silver in the asset of Elizaveta Tuktamysheva (women’s single skating).
Bronze awards went to Alexandra Boykova and Dmitry Kozlovsky (sports couples) and Alexandra Trusova (women’s single skating).
The second place in the medal standings was taken by the US team – one gold and one silver. The third place went to the representatives of Japan – one silver and one bronze.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian duo for the first time in 12 years won the dancers’ competition at the World Figure Skating Championships.
