According to him, he intends to continue working to make the athlete’s dream come true. In addition, he said that he was proud that for the first time in history, the entire podium was occupied by domestic figure skaters, stressing that Russia is the strongest country in women’s single skating.
Trusova, who took 12th place after the short program, declared five quadruple jumps for an arbitrary, but allowed falls when performing two of them. Despite this, the judges rated her performance at 152.38 points, on the sum of two rentals she scored 217.20 points, which allowed her to become the bronze medalist of the world championship.
Earlier, Plushenko’s academy congratulated Trusova on winning bronze at the World Cup.
