Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said that in a new document on information security, Russia outlined the threats associated with computer attacks on state information resources.

“For the first time, the threats associated with carrying out computer attacks on the information resources of states, including on the critical information infrastructure, have been identified,” Interfax quotes him.
Earlier it was reported that the Security Council, chaired by Russian leader Vladimir Putin, considered and approved the draft “Fundamentals of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of international information security.”
