Former world boxing champion and now State Duma deputy Dmitry Pirog reacted to the defeat of compatriot Alexander Povetkin from Briton Dillian White.
He also expressed the opinion that in four rounds Povetkin was not tired, and his condition after suffering a coronavirus could affect the defeat. In addition, Pie believes that the British boxer had many other advantages, including a difference in weight and age.
White knocked out Povetkin in the fourth round and became the interim WBC champion. For the Russian, this defeat was the third in his career with 36 wins and one draw.
Recall that Povetkin won in the first fight between boxers.
Earlier, Kostya Tszyu advised Povetkin to end his career.
