General Director of DOM.RF Vitaly Mutko noted that the greatest demand for housing is observed at a mortgage rate of no more than 7.5%.
He noted that when developing systemic measures to support the population on the part of the state, it is worth focusing on just such an indicator of the mortgage rate.
According to him, preferential mortgages for new buildings at 6.5% have become an anti-crisis measure, the issue of extending this support program should be taken closer to July 1.
Mutko also considers it necessary to develop systemic measures to support the population in terms of housing affordability.
Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Finance does not plan to raise rates on preferential mortgage programs, even if the average rate in Russia rises.
