MP Balbek commented on Crimea’s plans to file lawsuits against Ukraine

State Duma deputy Ruslan Balbek commented in an interview with RT on the plans of the Crimean authorities to send several lawsuits to Ukraine in connection with the organization of a water blockade of the peninsula by Kiev.

The deputy stressed that “the Western world is not yet ripe to understand the true state of affairs in Russia.”

According to Balbek, filing lawsuits is futile, since today’s international institutions of law “act for the sake of politics.”

“Such a claim will be valid when, on the mental level, Western society recognizes that it did not work to crush Russia with sanctions. And when they descend from heaven to earth and begin to talk to us on equal terms, albeit without sympathy, then the time will come for a claim on the water blockade, ”the parliamentarian added.

Earlier, the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, announced that a water blockade lawsuit was being prepared in Crimea, with which it was planned to go to court, and then to international organizations.
