By the end of the year, the Moscow authorities will triple the number of residential parking lots – up to a thousand parking spaces, said Maria Mayorova, head of the parking space development department of the Transport Department.

She said that now more than 250 applications for the organization of resident places have been submitted for consideration. The most problematic places arise where the high price of parking does not allow the availability of free parking spaces.
“After we receive the application, we naturally go to the place, assess the workload near the specified place … As a rule, most of the requests are supported,” Mayorova noted.
Earlier it was reported that the tariffs for paid parking will increase from April 5 on 193 sections of Moscow streets with a load of 96% or more.
