State Duma Deputy Vitaly Milonov reacted to the fact that the Russian referee Kirill Levnikov knelt in support of the anti-racist movement Black Lives Matter before the match of the first round of the qualifying tournament of the 2022 FIFA World Cup England – San Marino
In his opinion, if a judge supports such actions, then he should not call himself a Russian judge. He noted that in this way, Levnikov showed his weakness in front of the British.
“A judge should not be biased, he should show his position, his political apathy, but here it turns out that he acted as a political activist. This is rather strange, ”Milonov said.
The meeting took place at Wembley Stadium in London and ended 5-0 in favor of England.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian referee knelt before the England – San Marino match.
