The official announcement of the Michelin stars isn’t until Monday, but a new app from the culinary guide shows who the lucky ones are two days in advance, reports NRC Saturday.
The Michelin Guide is the most authoritative culinary guide in the Netherlands and the star ceremony is therefore an event that culinary Netherlands is eagerly looking forward to.
The app shows ten restaurants that will receive the popular stars this year. Brut172 from chef Hans van Wolde in Reijmerstok in Limburg receives two stars in one fell swoop and restaurant 212 Amsterdam receives a second star.
Other winners are De Nieuwe Winkel in Nijmegen, Heemstede Castle in Houten, Zeezout in Rotterdam, Daalder en Wils in Amsterdam, Pieters in Bergambacht, Meliefste in Wolphaartsdijk (Zeeland) and Tilia (formerly De Zwaan) in Etten-Leur.
It is not yet clear which restaurants lose stars.
