After six months of absence, due to health problems, Michel Drucker made his return to television on Sunday March 28, at the helm of his show, “Vivement dimanche”. The “Cult!” of the 20 h of France 2 looks back on his journey.
After a long absence, linked to health problems, Michel Drucker will finally find his red sofa and his audience on Sunday March 27, in the program “Vivement dimanche”. “It’s quite moving to see him come back”, confides a technician present on the set. “I have come a long way. I was told that I would come back one day on the set of ‘Vivement dimanche’, I would never have believed it. I am a miracle, really.”, recognizes Michel Drucker. Within six months, he underwent triple coronary bypass surgery, conquered sepsis, and avoided amputation of a leg.

In almost 60 years of career, Michel Drucker has become one of the emblematic figures of the small screen. From his beginnings, he introduced many talents. The greatest singers will pass on its stage. In 1983, it was he who launched Celine Dion, barely 15 years old. Later, he will help develop the careers of several comedians, including Laurent Gerra and Gad Elmaleh. At 78, Michel Drucker does not intend to stop. “His secret is passion”, assures Eric Antoine, magician and humorist, also used to the red sofa.
