Marvik tests the national team for the World Cup qualifiers against India today – sports – local

India’s match is the second for the team in the era of its current Dutch coach, Van Bert Marwijk, after he had a previous friendly match against the Iraqi national team last January, which ended in a 0-0 draw, while the team fought an indoor camp in Dubai last February without a friendly experience.

The last official match that brought the UAE national team together with its Indian counterpart, in the first group of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup hosted by the country, ended with Al-Abyad winning with two unanswered goals scored by Khalfan Mubarak and Ali Mabkhout.

The national team is currently running an internship camp in Dubai since last Tuesday.

Al-Abyad is fourth in Group G with six points, which he won by defeating Malaysia and Indonesia, while he lost to Vietnam and Thailand.

The national team will play its first remaining qualifying matches against Malaysia on the third of next June, while it meets Thailand on the seventh of the same month, and faces Indonesia on the 11th of that month, and concludes its matches with the Vietnam match on the 15th of the same month, and the matches will be held at Zabeel Stadium in Al Wasl Club, and Al Maktoum Al-Nasr Club.
