The Lithuanian government has approved a proposal to extend the quarantine in the country until April 30.
It is reported that there will also be a restriction on movement between municipalities from March 27 to April 6.
According to the Minister of Health of Lithuania, Arunas Dulkis, over the past two weeks, the number of cases of coronavirus infection has begun to grow.
Earlier it was reported that Lithuania will purchase 1.24 million doses of coronavirus vaccine from BioNTech and Pfizer.
