Krasnov expressed confidence that the document would help increase the effectiveness of joint efforts of the prosecutors of Russia and Portugal to counter the most dangerous challenges and threats to public safety.
“The Memorandum provides for such forms of interaction between the parties as the exchange of information on legislation, the state and trends of crime, experience and best practices in the field of protection of human rights and freedoms, consultations on legal issues, other international events, including mutual visits of experts, cooperation in training and improving the qualifications of prosecutors, “- noted in the message of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia.
At the moment, the Russian oversight agency has concluded more than 90 such interagency agreements.
Earlier it was reported that in the city of Naypyidaw, negotiations were held between the Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia, Colonel-General Alexander Fomin, with the chairman of the State Administrative Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hline.
