Jakobsson goal scorer when Real Madrid won

Sofia Jakobsson started when Real Madrid met second-placed Deportivo La Coruña away on Saturday.

After Maite Oroz set the lead after 52 minutes, it was the Swedish midfielder who set the final score at 2-0.

Kosovo Asllani has been injured for a while but is on its way back. Most recently when Real Madrid lost to Levante away, Asllani got a quarter on the field and here against Deportivo she came in with five minutes left of regular time.

The goal was Jakobsson’s seventh league goal of the season and with the victory, Real Madrid consolidates its third place in the league table. They are one point behind Levante and have ten points up to leading Barcelona.
