The investigation is considering two main versions of the Ka-32 helicopter crash in the Kaliningrad region – a safety violation and an emergency that does not depend on the crew. This was reported in the North-West Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
“The versions that are being considered are a safety violation and, possibly, some kind of emergency beyond the control of the ship’s crew,” TASS reports.
As emphasized, there are currently two main versions of the helicopter crash.
Earlier, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry confirmed that one person was killed and two were rescued in the crash of the Ka-32 EMERCOM helicopter in the Kaliningrad region.

In addition, the department reported that the helicopter was operated by an experienced crew with thousands of flight hours.
A criminal case was initiated into the incident.
