The annual ecological action “Earth Hour” under the auspices of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) will traditionally be held in St. Petersburg. On Saturday, March 27, at 20:30, the illumination of more than 40 buildings and bridges in the city center will be turned off.

It is specified that this is about the buildings of the Hermitage, the General Staff Building, the Kunstkamera, the Menshikov Palace, the State Institute of Culture. Also, the illumination will be turned off at the Palace, Blagoveshchensky, Troitsky, Exchange bridges.
In the Youth House on Novoizmailovsky Prospekt from 18:00 to 20:00, the organizers of the Lehko space will hold an open screening of the documentary “Plastic Ocean”. After that, a light show will be arranged on the square in front of the building.
Every year, Earth Hour is attended by up to 2 billion people around the world in more than 180 countries.
