In Kazakhstan, in March, the number of patients with a severe course of coronavirus infection COVID-19 increased by 32%, said the head of the Ministry of Health of the republic Alexei Tsoi.
According to the Ministry of Health, 33% (8,130) of infectious beds and 20% (450) of intensive care beds are employed in Kazakhstan.
At the same time, over the past two weeks, the incidence of coronavirus in Kazakhstan has increased 1.5 times.
Earlier, in Nur-Sultan, due to the increase in coronavirus cases, it was decided to ban the work of shopping and entertainment centers and catering establishments on weekends from March 30, as well as transfer students and schoolchildren to remote education, with the exception of graduates.
