The director, the actors and the technicians of the France 3 series “Perfect Crimes” are happy to be able to work under the particularly sunny skies of the Côte-d’Azur … but without forgetting to respect the instructions related to the Covid.
We could almost forget the health situation and yet a strict protocol is in force: mask for everyone, even for the actors, except during the takes. “A shoot is a bit of a microcosm (…) so we don’t really feel all the restrictions that are due to confinement or Covid. The only thing that changes is that we have a PCR test once a week ”, relates the actress Lola Dewaere. Another change due to the Covid: delays in filming when there are positive cases.
Filming conditions which are rather well accepted by the director Christophe Douchand: “It’s part of this new era, you have to adapt”. The team considers themselves lucky to be able to work at this time. Last year, filming came to a screeching halt for three months. In the fields of fiction, cinema but also advertising, the number of days of activity has decreased by almost 20% in one year in the Paca region.
