Former absolute world boxing champion Konstantin Tszyu commented on the defeat of Russian boxer Alexander Povetkin in a rematch with Dillian White.
The former boxer also believes that weighing in is not indicative and that 8kg is a small difference for heavyweights.
“Nikolay Valuev weighed 150 kg in heavy weight, and many went on it with much less weight. Of course, the coronavirus could affect the shape of Alexander Povetkin. But there is such a thing, when you entered the ring – no excuses. If you left, then you are ready. If Alexander was not ready for his feelings, he simply should not have entered the ring. If it came out, then any arguments already serve as some kind of excuses, ”he added.
Recall that in the first fight Povetkin knocked out White in the fifth round.
Earlier it was reported that White visited Povetkin’s locker room after the fight.
