He noted that he needed a victory over Povetkin.
“I hate losing and I want to level the score 1-1. This is my plan. I was in different fights, I adjusted to the opponent and won in different ways. I will do what it takes to win. My coach has prepared different plans, we worked on many aspects, so it doesn’t matter in which way, the main thing is victory, ”added the Briton.
The first fight between Povetkin and White, which took place in August, ended with the victory of the Russian by knockout in the fifth round. Povetkin then won the interim WBC heavyweight title.
The second battle was scheduled for November 21, but was postponed twice due to the coronavirus infection detected in the Russian. As a result, it will be held on March 27 in Gibraltar.
Earlier Povetkin said that he did not think about necessarily knocking White out a second time.
