After three defeats in a row which compromised its race for qualification, Guinea-Bissau raised its head on Friday March 26 during the 5th and penultimate day of the group stage. In group I, the Djurtus won 3-1 against a team of Eswatini already eliminated, with goals from Marcelo Djalo (15th), Alfa Semedo (24th) and Pelé (50th), against a goal from Félix Badenhorst (19th). With now six points on the clock, Guinea-Bissau is a step back from Congo-Brazzaville, second in the group and which faces Senegal (leader with 12 points and already qualified) this Friday at 5 p.m. The Congolese will have to win to definitively lock their second place, qualifying for the CAN in Cameroon.
