In the list of participations in the most prestigious continental competitions, the Black Star are in fact only preceded by eternal Egypt (22 participations against 17).</span></span></span></span></span></span>

Ghana has composted its ticket for Cameroon without trembling on the ground of South Africa, like its journey in Group C these qualifiers; only one defeat in 5 matches. Yet battered in the first period by a team of Bafana Bafana who provided great opportunities, the Black Styars showed achievement to open the scoring thanks to Mohammed Kudus. Less than five minutes after the return from the locker room, the Ajax striker took advantage of the apathy of the opposing defense to win his duel against Ronwen Williams (49th).

The Bafana Bafana, far from being stunned, reacted by equalizing six minutes after the Ghanaian goal by the indestructible Percy Tau (51st). The score will not move any more. Ghana will be in Cameroon, but South Africa remains under threat from Sudan, which it will visit on March 28 for the last day. And a loss would wipe out the Rainbow Nation players.
