In New Moscow, an explosion of a gas cylinder in a private house injured five people, including one child. This was reported in the IC of Russia in the city of Moscow.
“According to the investigation, on the evening of March 26, 2021, in a private residential building located in the Moskovsky settlement in New Moscow, there was a cotton of gas and the subsequent collapse of the roof of a residential building,” the statement said.
As a result of the accident, five people were injured, including one child.
Investigators opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of Russia (Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in grievous bodily harm by negligence).

Earlier, the governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, instructed to create a mechanism for additional inspection of houses with gas equipment after the emergency in Khimki.
