A municipal emergency was introduced in Zelenodolsk after a gas explosion and the collapse of several apartments in a residential building.
“We are introducing a regime of an emergency of a municipal nature in a district and a city. The life support of the population has been disrupted, so we are making such a decision, ”RIA Novosti quotes the words of Rafis Khabibullin, head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s main department for Tatarstan.
He clarified that this regime is being introduced from today until the completion of work on the restoration of the damaged house.
A gas explosion in an apartment building in the city of Zelenodolsk in Tatarstan occurred on Monday evening. Seven apartments on two floors have collapsed, the supporting structures of the house, according to preliminary data, are not damaged. One person died, seven were injured.
