“Dubai Chamber” invites Monaco to join the global logistical passport – local economy


The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry called on the Emirate of Monaco to join the global logistical passport and benefit from the competitive advantages of Dubai, as the global logistical passport constitutes an important initiative from Dubai to facilitate trade exchange and shipping, support global trade, and strengthen logistical links, stressing that this initiative strengthens Dubai’s position and reputation as a global center For the growth of international trade and the acceleration of the economic recovery.

The “Dubai Chamber”, during its reception of a high-ranking delegation headed by Pierre Dartout, the Minister of State in the Emirate of Monaco, discussed ways to develop bilateral economic relations between Dubai and Monaco.

The two sides also discussed strengthening and activating joint cooperation in major and future economic fields and sectors.

“Monaco is a gateway to more than 500 million consumers in European markets, while Dubai is a gateway to more than two billion consumers in the markets of the Middle East, Asia and Africa,” said Chairman of the Dubai Chamber, Abdulaziz Al-Ghurair.

Al Ghurair added to “Emirates Today”, on the sidelines of the meeting, that “the ship tourism sector is an important sector and a major contributor to supporting the tourism sector in Monaco, and it is an area in which the main players in Monaco can establish strategic partnerships with their counterparts in Dubai, in order to achieve common interests.” Pointing out that Dubai is working to enhance its reputation as a major destination in ship tourism around the world. Al Ghurair called on companies in Monaco to take advantage of the many competitive advantages that Dubai provides them to expand in the region’s markets, including the important strategic location and availability of investment opportunities, as well as the appropriate infrastructure that stimulates the expansion plans of international companies.

For his part, the Minister of State for the Emirate of Monaco, Pierre Dartot, said that Dubai constitutes a distinguished and successful global model for rapid development, praising this model that the world can benefit from in supporting business sectors.
