A man assaulted two extraordinary investigators (boas) on Saturday night when he was stopped for violating curfews. The man then fled by bicycle.
The man cycled between 9.10 pm and 9.40 pm from the direction of the city center of Hulst. Two boas spoke to the man, but he kept cycling. After a short chase, the boas managed to stop the man on the Van der Maalstedeweg.
The cyclist had no valid explanation for the violation of the curfew and reacted aggressively. Tempers ran so high that a struggle arose in which the boas received a few blows. Then the man fled on his bicycle towards the Clingeweg.
The suspect hasn’t been caught yet. According to the police, this is a man with a sturdy and sporty build with short, black hair. The man is about 1.70 meters tall and wore a green / khaki jacket, black sports pants, gray sneakers from the Sneaker brand with a white sole and black socks. The bike was a gray / black mountain bike with a plastic mudguard without fixed lighting.
