In Turkey, a verdict has been handed down, 14 years after the shooting of Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink. Four people (including two former police chiefs) were sentenced to life imprisonment. Other defendants were acquitted. This judgment rekindled the wounds between Turkey and Armenia.
In Serbia, migrants housed in a humanitarian camp near Belgrade have been vaccinated against Covid-19. More than 500 people have received their first dose of AstraZeneca vaccine. This vaccination program is intended for the thousands of migrants who try to reach Western Europe via the Balkan route.
